Ontario Arts Council allocates $23 million to 435 organizations

Ontario Arts Council says the first 2026–27 Ontario Arts Operating Fund group will receive $23 million across 435 organizations. The council estimates those recipients collectively support 3,054 full-time-equivalent positions and 4,192 seasonal and part-time jobs. Another group, including summer music festivals and theatres with mainly summer programming, is due to be announced in early 2027.
