China reports 4.5% third-quarter growth and higher industrial output

China’s statistics bureau reported on October 19 that third-quarter GDP grew 4.5% from a year earlier, versus 4.3% in the second quarter. It also reported 5.3% growth in output at larger industrial enterprises over the first nine months of 2026.
